We're back with a long awaited update about our wedding! Thanks to you all for your patience as we've been working out details on our end. The complexities of vendors, locations, and guests have left us feeling like air traffic controllers in the middle of a storm. We're just under a month out from our original wedding date in June. Unfortunately, we don't know as much as we would like to when it comes to the timeline of restrictions being lifted.
Here's what we do know:
- We are proceeding with our wedding ceremony on June 12th. This has always been planned as an intimate gathering with immediate family only. In fact, we feel it's God grace that our intentions for the ceremony are still intact.
PRAYER REGUEST: We pray Sarah's family is able to make the trip from Nebraska, whether it's flying or driving.
- We would like to gather RSVPs for both our original date for the reception (what y'all are invited to!) on June 13th and our backup date of August 8th. We have a reception venue that is fantastic and working with us to make the reception safely happen if we're legally able to do it.
- We're asking for you to please RSVP by May 22nd (next Friday), as that is the last day we can decide if we're postponing or not. You'll see both dates for you to RSVP for on the website.
- We will notify all guests if we're postponing or not by May 25th via email.

OUT OF TOWN GUESTS:
We know this is a crazy time! Go ahead and take advantage of those cheap flights right now, but please book with an airline that has a flexible change policy. And remember that LAX isn't your only option. In fact, the airport in Orange County is much smaller and closer to our venue. If you have any questions about flying or accommodations when you get here, don't hesitate to reply to this email. Both of us will receive your message and be glad to help!
To all of our guests, you were invited to celebrate our wedding because you are important to us, but we also want you to know that if for any reason you cannot attend we understand. Thanks to you all for prayers and words of encouragement as we're navigating a wedding in the middle of a pandemic. No matter what happens, we know we're going to get married.
